Jorge Luis Robaina Martínez, Karamba’s lead singer and director, said that this is the first time of the band in the Special Municipality, where they have high expectations.
Here they promoted their latest album “De ida y vuelta”, third phonogram of the band that was recorded in Inguz de Zaragoza recording studios, produced by Spanish La Tapisca  Productions and licensed to Cuba, by Bis Music, record label and music publishing house from ARTEX.

He also said that, although there is a strong presence of rock music in the album, they make incursions into other genres like pop, funk, soul, cumbia, vallenato, Cuban traditional music  and trova, responding to their Cuban music roots.
“During this three-day presentations in Nueva Gerona , we have also performed some songs that will be in our fourth CD “Desahogo del 10 del 11 y del 12″, where we venture to play rancheras”, he said.
The members of the band have shared in its nine years of existence, stages in Europe with the Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra, Puerto Rican band Calle 13 and the Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall. .
