The exposition in occasion to the 35 anniversary of the creation of the internationalist schools in the then Isle of Pines was opened in the lobby of the Caribe movie theater, as part of the activities carried out in the territory in honor of the anniversary.
Significant moments of the work of young people from Africa, Latin America and Asia are included in the sample, where an example of human will and solidarity of the Revolution, a permanent and progressive education of the Cuban people and other countries is highlighted.

The first international schools that received Angolan young students were the secondary schools in the countryside Samora Moises Machel Machel and Eduardo Mondlane. Thus an important stage in the history of the local and Cuban education began.

The photos not only shows the student life of Mozambicans, Nicaraguans, Saharans, Koreans and students of other nationalities, but also their work in the countryside, practicing sports, culture activities and the close relationship with local families, which gave support and homely warmth.
Ernesto Reinoso Piñeiro, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the territory, Ramon Sánchez Causelo, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, guests, educators and students present there touched, from the graphic memory, one of the most exciting pages of local history.
At 35 years of the beautiful epic this program is not in the past, continues today throughout the whole country, by training teachers, doctors, engineers, and other professionals who knit friendships with the nation and sent the Cuba solidarity message to the world.
