In the activity that took place in the theater of the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Pedagogical University, the most important moments in the life of the photo-reporter of the Victoria newspaper were revived once again, who with only 23 gave his life for the independence of other sister country and became part of the rich historical memory of the nation where he was born.
Poetry, music and dance were also part of the tribute to Carballosa, each of these art manifestations undertaken by the same students of the center were dedicated to the beloved partner as well say those who knew him, left an everlasting impression on their lives and in the new generations.

One of the most special moments of tribute was the screening of the sixth chapter of the documentary series “Semilla de Redención “(Redemption Seed) by Ismael López Arango of the Islavisión local T.V center, which is on the internationalist combatants who fell in the war of Angola and in this case dedicated to Carballosa Gutierrez.
Rafael de la Cruz, director of this educational institution, acknowledged the presence of those who were there and said that these professors will continue developing best revolutionaries, being faithful the heroes and martyrs of the homeland.
He said that youth and the responsibility for tasks are always closely linked, as the Centenary Generation demonstrated and those who from 1868 until now gave their lives for the noblest of causes: the independence of Cuba.
