Homage of children claim freedom of the five

SALON-INFANTIL-1With a cultural homage to the Cuban Five Heroes unjustly held in U.S. since 14 years ago, the second Infantile Salon of Plastic Arts Volverán sin cadenas was opened in the headquarter of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) in the Isle of Youth.

With a cultural homage to the Cuban Five Heroes unjustly held in U.S. since 14 years ago, the second Infantile Salon of Plastic Arts Volverán sin cadenas was opened in the headquarter of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) in the Isle of Youth.

 

Different artistic manifestations like dance, music and poetry were showed in the gala of presentation of the units of art instructors, where the 14 anniversary of the antiterrorist fighters retention was also conmemorated.

 

The gala had as colofom the opening exposition of plastic arts in which chidren of ten institutions participated. Through different art techniques the pioneers reflected what they feel for the cause of the Five brothers.

According to Ariadna Cuza Milanés, president of the José Martí art instructor brigade, this is the second edition of the salon, which will be carried out next years in the same date. The exposition will continue open until October 6 and it  will also salute the 8 anniversary of the brigade on October 20.

 

The fraternal message of admiration and firmness dedicated to René, Antonio, Fernando, Ramón and Gerardo was hightlighted through the art of children and senior citizens.
