The Computer Clubs, project created by The Commander in Chief Fidel Castro,celebrate this September 8th , its 25 years of created.
In this Special Municipality and the rest of the country, instructors, specialists and students have developed from earlier this week a full program of activities in the 600 facilities in all provinces.
According to Olga Lidia Suarez, director of the Computer Clubs system here, there will be encounters with former leaders, recognitions and distinctions to outstanding workers in the six centers of this territory.
A great Computer Festival will take place this Saturday from eight in the morning until six in the evening as part of the celebrations to mark the quarter century that provides, all members of the family, knowledge of new technologies in computing and train in electronics.
During 2012 summer season, the Computer Clubs had role in providing over 24 460 services to people, including short courses, antivirus updates, digital art contest to celebrate Fidel’s birthday and the anniversary of the FMC and the acquisition of EcuRed Cuban collaborative encyclopedia.
